April 30th, 2009 Posted in MedicalOn the right is an intact photo series of a foreskin retraction. Note in both intact organs that there is no keratinization (callus) and the pleasure receptors are on the surface. Contrast this with the circumcised glans. Not only is the foreskin missing with all it’s pleasure receptors, but the receptors that were not amputated are covered by a thick layer of keratin.
